The Playstation 3 is an amazing piece of hardware. We bought on mainly for it's ability to play Blu-Ray movies -- but I must admit I did go out and buy Call of Duty 4 and it's amazing. Now I'm waiting for Little Big Planet to come out next week -- look for my review of that soon. My only complaint about the PS3 for Blu-Ray playback is that it won't send out any audio format above DTS-ES and DolbyDigital in Bitstream... it does the decoding and sends it out multi-channel PCM. This is mainly a lame audio-nerd complaint. According to "the internet" the PS3 is supposed to have a very good decoder for things like DTS-MA, but still -- I'm used to my receiver doing that heavy lifting.
