A wonderful view into life in the South during the 1960's... and a view that we may or may not have thought about before. It places characters clearly in our face to admire and cherish as well as those who we cannot understand... The challenge of sharing personal stories and the threat that these individuals will be recognized forms the foundation of this amazing read. Dialogue is incredible both written and heard. I actually listened on my IPhone and appreciated every word!
